This is a list of folders. When you start your Macintosh, extensions (a.k.a. “Startup Documents” or “INITs”) in these folders will run as if they were in the real “Extensions” folder in your System Folder. Double click on a folder to open it.
To add a new folder to the list, click this button.
If this button is disabled, you cannot add more folders to the list.
To change the names displayed for the selected folders in the list, click this button. If you have some more descriptive name than the path to the folder, this button lets you display that name. This button does not rename the actual folder.
To change the names displayed in the list of folders, select a folder and click this button.
To delete the selected folders from the list, click this button.
To delete a folder from the list, select a folder and click this button.
To unmount all auto-mounted volumes, click this checkbox.
When this box is checked, volumes mounted while running extensions will be unmounted before continuing to the Finder (unless the volumes are still in use).
To leave all auto-mounted volumes mounted, click this checkbox.
